Scammer targets Bakersfield Starbucks


BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Police Division is asking for the group’s assist in finding a suspect that scammed an area Starbucks. 

On August 27, 2017 round eight:30 p.m. an worker on the Starbucks at 1201 twenty fourth Road acquired a telephone name from an unknown man who pretended to be an worker with the Starbucks company workplace. 

The person then informed the worker to organize a brand new deposit and was advised that a company worker would go to the enterprise to gather the funds. 

About an hour later a lady confirmed as much as the Starbucks pretending to be part of the Starbucks company workplace and picked up $four,000. 

It was later decided that this complete operation was a rip-off.

The lady who confirmed as much as the Starbucks to gather the funds is described as a white feminine, 30-forty years previous, brown shoulder size hair, sporting a black pantsuit and carrying a grey briefcase.
