GARNER, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina man has been accused of stealing a road sweeper and utilizing it to drive doughnuts round a shopping center.
Garner police advised native media retailers that 39-yr-previous Jason Lee Robinson of Raleigh was arrested Sunday and charged with larceny, driving whereas impaired and hit and run.
Authorities say Robinson took the $50,000 car whereas its driver was emptying trash cans on Saturday night time. Police say he then used it to drive in circles round a Garner shopping center parking zone, damaging a curb, bushes and one other car.
Robinson was caught after the road sweeper ran over a median and got here to a cease. It wasn’t instantly recognized if he had an lawyer.
