Inn-Escapable: Pioneer Inn, Lahaina

This historic inn adjoining to the Lahaina harbor was inbuilt 1901, again when there have been no lodgings on the island in any respect — and four hundred whaling ships recurrently anchored offshore. This can be a place wealthy in lore, the place a horse as soon as received thrown out of the saloon for misbehavior — it’s unclear whether or not it was the horse or the rider who was misbehaving, however they have been each indoors. And Frank Sinatra and Spencer Tracy filmed “The Satan at four O’clock” right here — legend has it that between takes, Tracy carried on a steamy affair with Katharine Hepburn upstairs.
