Fire damages law enforcement center in South Carolina

WALHALLA, S.C. (AP) – Authorities are investigating a fireplace that broken a regulation enforcement middle in South Carolina.

Walhalla Hearth Division Chief Brandon Burton informed native media a fireplace began at round 5:30 p.m. Saturday on the Oconee Regulation Enforcement Middle.

Burton says the hearth began on the primary story of the constructing and brought about vital smoke injury to the second flooring.

The 911 dispatch middle was evacuated, and nobody was injured. Burton estimated the hearth brought on greater than $one hundred,000 in damages.
