Collage takes parts in German engineering exchange program


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) – College of Alabama engineering college students together with 4 peer establishments within the state will participate in a German engineering change program.

The Tuscaloosa Information stories that UA Provost Kevin Whitaker and his counterparts on the different partnering universities signed a memorandum of understanding Sept. 14 creating the change program. Undergraduates will have the ability to take English-taught programs on the Germany universities in mechanical, electrical and pc engineering.

The trade joins present UA packages permitting college students to review engineering in Germany.

The opposite Alabama establishments embrace the College of Alabama in Huntsville, the College of Alabama at Birmingham, Auburn College and the College of South Alabama. Seven German universities from the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg will take part.

About 20 undergraduates from the state will start learning in Germany starting subsequent spring.
