HANOVER PARK, IL (WGN/CNN) – An eleven-yr-previous woman who’s struggling from leukemia can now use medicinal marijuana at her elementary faculty.
A federal decide gave the ruling Friday after the woman’s mother and father sued their daughter’s faculty district.
Ashley Surin was recognized with leukemia in December of 2008.
Her mother and father say there have been aspect-results to the chemotherapy and different medical remedies that introduced on seizures.
“We administered chemotherapy to her for days, weeks, months,” stated Jim Surin, Ashley Surin’s father.
